The South Central AIDS Education & Training Center of Arkansas (SCAETC) will be hosting Preceptorships for any Licensed Medical Professional in the state, who would like to shadow our Medical Director, Dr. Dan Moore for a day to observe clinical care in an HIV clinic and have the opportunity to ask questions or have any concerns answered about proper patient care for People Living with HIV/AIDS. ABOUT THE EVENT
The theme of this year’s meeting is Pathways to Health Equity: A Glance at the Social Determinants of Health, Health Policy, and Advocacy.
The meeting offers attendees the opportunity to learn from the latest research and practice, conduct hands-on assessments on the latest tools and service, network with industry experts and colleagues, and expand their professional horizons. Attendees will be able to choose from multiple education sessions, enabling them to customize their schedule to best fit their public health interest.
On Friday of this conference, the Partnership for Health Literacy in Arkansas (PHLA), which has been dormant for some time, will be revitalized.
The purpose of the PHLA is to improve health literacy among Arkansans. If you would like to participate with us in the movement to improve health literacy, we look forward to seeing you.
