National Physician Survey Examines Physician Morale

The Physicians Foundation is conducting its third national survey designed to examine the morale, career plans, and practice metrics of today’s physicians.  Results will be compared with those of the 2010 and 2012 surveys.  These surveys have been instrumental in giving physicians a national voice, with coverage by such notable publications as The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.

Most importantly, this survey has been instrumental in conveying how physicians feel about the current state of the medical profession, and for that reason the AMS believes it is important that you participate. All participants who include their email address will have the full survey report emailed to them, and will be entered in a drawing for a $10,000 travel voucher, a $2,000 Apple voucher, and multiple iPad Airs.

The Physicians Foundation is a national non-profit group of physician and medical society leaders formed in 2003 as a result of a successful multi-state, class-action lawsuit brought about by physicians, 19 state medical societies and three county medical societies against private third-party payers.  The goal of the Foundation is to advance the work of practicing physicians, focusing on leadership, practice trends, and the impact of health reform on both physicians and patients.
