Journal of the Arkansas Medical Society

The Journal of the Arkansas Medical Society is the official publication of the AMS. It was established in 1880 to serve as a communications tool and to provide valuable information and scientific articles to member physicians and for the Society.

Today’s Journal, while no longer a scientific publication, is member-centric and includes timely feature articles and updates on practice management, insurance, legislation, and health policy. It also includes member news, leadership updates, member profiles, medical school news, and more.

The Journal is published quarterly and is available digitally here at arkmed.org. Current circulation is approximately 4,000.
