AMS Annual Meeting – May 2-3, 2014 – Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain
All AMS members are invited to attend the 138th Annual Session. Events will include educational programs, exhibits, State Volunteer Mutual Risk Management Seminar, and the President’s Gala honoring incoming president, Alan Wilson, MD, of Crossett. With the many issues facing you and your medical practice, there is an opportunity to make your voice heard. AMS will hold the annual governance session of the House of Delegates on Saturday, May 3rd. AMS members can offer resolutions individually or resolutions can be submitted by county or specialty medical societies. Resolutions may deal with socioeconomic, public health, science, medical education, or AMS financial and organizational matters that are important to physicians and patients.
The deadline to submit resolutions is April 13. Any item of business not submitted by this date must have two-thirds consent of attending delegates for introduction at the meeting. Contact Kay Waldo at 501-224-8967 or by email for more information.
