Episodes of Care April 2016 Reports Delayed

AMS has been notified that Episodes of Care (EOC) Principle Accountable Provider quarterly reports originally scheduled for release April 29 have an anticipated publication date of June 17. For the most current information, call the APII Help Desk at 866-322-4696 or 501-301-8311; or EMAIL.

During routine quality assurance testing of report data, it was determined that pharmacy claims data were missing. Involved data were not related to pharmacy claims processed and paid by Medicaid; however, they were found to affect calculations required for EOC reports.

In an average EOC quarterly report processing cycle, more than 40 million Medicaid claim records are reviewed, evaluated, and utilized to produce some 2,500 PAP Reports. DMS is working diligently with their business partners – Hewlett Packard Enterprises (medical claims), Magellan (pharmacy claims), Optum (data warehouse) and General Dynamics Health Solutions (analytics/reporting) – to facilitate report production without further delays
