Journal Wins Awards
The Journal of the Arkansas Medical Society was recently honored with two Bronze Quill Awards presented by the Arkansas Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
The awards were in the category of writing and recognized two journal feature articles, both written by head journal writer, Casey Penn. The first, from January 2015, “A Community Fixture of Health Has Closed Its Doors” covered the recent closing of Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis (click here for update on this developing story). The second, was November 2014 cover story, “Digging Up Bones: Independence County Physicians Reinvent Local Medical Society.” Both articles can be viewed in the Publications section of our website.
The IABC/Arkansas Bronze Quill Awards recognize excellence in writing, design, photography and interactive communications. Bronze Quill winners are among the best communicators in the field and set the standard for communications excellence.
